About mama Aline (combo: Mother Opounga)

Good evening everyone, let me introduce myself, my name is Mombo, (wife of Nzamba) Aline Lydie. I was born in Mouilla. Daughter of the late Mombo Michel who was of the Nzebi tradition and by profession a nurse and my late mother Mbamba Alphonsine, of the Tsogo tradition.

My story began like this, from the age of 9 my mother was a great Bwiti healer which is where my calling comes from today. While she had patients, she always treated me as her helper, I didn't know it was a way of preparing me for succession. At the age of 12, I found myself with the religious, but after a year I fell ill. I was sent back to my family to receive care from my mother because the hospital couldn't find a solution to my illness. I was suffocating a lot and losing consciousness. I underwent my first initiation into Elombo with my mother and found healing.

It was at this moment that I understood that this was my path and I followed it. Afterward, I went through several initiations including Elombo, Ologuo, Mboumba Yano, Niembe and Maboundi.

All these initiations make me a Nima today, hence I carry the name of mother Opounga.

At this moment, my wish is to help people in need regardless of race or religion. Because in life, it's important to know who we are and what we want.

Today I feel better in what I do, so I see no reason not to also train other people who wish to learn more about these traditions.

I feel ready to share this experience, but the prerequisite is to be initiated first. Because only the initiated are guardians of the secrets of tradition. My wish is to share all this knowledge with other people to avoid losing it all.

About papa Jean Claude (combo: Papa Mboka)

Let me introduce myself. I am Mr. NZAMBA JEAN CLAUDE, born in Mourindi, a village where the Catholic Church MONT CARMEL is located, 45km from Tchibanga and 32km from Doussala. I am the husband of Mama Aline, and I am also initiated into Bwiti Missoko (Ngondet); my name in Bwiti is (Mboka), and in Mwiri. I am a Nganga of Bwiti.

I met Mama Aline at an Elombo ceremony that took place at her house, and I was deeply in love with her from then on. I support her in her spiritual works, wishing she could go further and further, and I will support her until my last days.

On my part, I heal in the Bwiti way, but I had to stop so I could support mama Aline properly.
If I practice more on my side, I would not be able to watch over her well because my role as a husband is to watch over her work. When there are severe cases, like madness, I come to help. It takes a man to be able to assist her, and if the problem needs to be handled by a man, I step in. I must keep a vigilant eye on everything happening around her, not forgetting all the people who live with us and are around us.
I do not see myself fully practicing Bwiti on my part because I need to assume the training of our children for a good succession, simply so that our village never dies.

Now, those who want teaching and learning for rituals at Mama Aline's, come because you will not be disappointed. She treats various pathologies; everyone will be received according to their cases. I especially ensure that my village is known in the country, in Gabon, and why not in the whole world. I ask all those who are interested, we are at your entire disposal, ask questions, and you will get answers. Mama Aline is a humble woman, open-minded and open hearted, the vibes she emits strengthen the spirits of all who come in contact with her.

About Michelle

My name is Elsa Michelle Kengue. I am the eldest daughter of Jean Claude and Aline. My mother has been practicing traditional medicine since she was 9 years old.

I was originally a practicing the Christian religion, but I became seriously ill and the hospital could not cure me. Moreover, I don't live in the same city as my parents.
I explained the situation to my parents, and they asked me to come back to the family. Upon returning, and because I believe in what they do, I decided to undergo initiation. Since my initiation, I have been feeling better. Currently, I am still with my mother to see how she works and to learn from her.

Traditional medicine has helped me a lot. In 2019, I had a severe accident in which I fractured my pelvis and had metal inserted. The doctor said it would be complicated for me to have children, but thanks to traditional medicine, today I have a little girl.

About Haulsene (combo Evamba)

Hello, my name is Lars Haulsene: combo (EVAMBA) which means "Love". I am the second daughter of mother Aline, I am 30 years old (birthyear 1994) and I have been initiated into several rites.

The reasons are multiple. 1) At the age of 3, I was initiated into "niembet" which is reserved for all the women of the village. 2) Elombo, Ologo and Mboumba.

Because from a very young age I was in contact with spirits and at the age of 11, I had my first experience with iboga (short mat) and at 15, I was initiated into Elombo, Mboumba because the spirits manifested in me, I would enter trance without even being initiated, it was a magical experience.
I was able to commune and speak with my entities, my grandmother, and I saw my past life, my present, and what my future would be. During this transition, the Ologo spirit revealed itself and I had to undergo this third initiation.
Since then, I have learned to know myself better and understand the workings and secrets of life. I am at peace with myself and nature.

Since this stage, I have been learning traditional medicine and the secrets that all these mysteries hold close to mother Aline (Opounga).

I help and accompany my mom to learn and it's a wonderful experience. Seeing and accompanying mother Aline who treats infertility, fibroids, myomas, madness, helping people to find themselves, to improve their lives, to regain lost abilities, to find healing. This brings me a lot of joy and fills my heart 🥰
